Ball Catcher is a little game that I made. All the balls will try to follow your cursor, but each
ball has its own rate of acceleration/deceleration, so they all handle differently. After a few
levels, you'll end up with over a hundred balls bouncing in all differently directions. To advance
through levels, trap all the balls in their square of the same color (or just click the level++
button).
You can comment/discuss the game here.
Table Of Contents Introduction Controls Version History Disclaimer -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Introduction The goal in Ball Catcher is move the balls over their square of the same color so that it gets trapped inside the square. Trap all the balls and you'll advance to the next level. After the first couple of levels, there will be mulitple balls and squares of the same color. Each ball only has one square that it can be trapped in. Even if the square is the same color as the ball, it may not be the correct trap for that ball; try moving another ball of the same color over that trap. There are nineteen (19) levels. You start off on level one (1). Level eighteen (18) has the most balls with 154. After level 18, the levels cycle back to what is essentially level zero.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Controls Use your mouse to move the cursor. The balls will move towards the cursor. Pressing any of the mouse buttons while playing will pause the game. Clicking the 'level++' or 'level++' will increase or decrease the current level respectively. Clicking the 'traps on/off' button will toggle the traps on and off. When the traps are turned off, you can play with the balls and long as you like without having to worry abou the traps getting in the way. To exit the game, just click the X button on the window. If for some reason that should fail, Alt+F4 will close just about anything. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version History + Version 1.00 - February 13th, 2007 + Known bugs - Clicking the level++ or level-- button while the "Level complete" screen is up will cause the "level complete" text to appear until the next level is completed. Easy fix, I'll get to it eventually.
